BIOGRAPHY


Nancy Cameron, L.Ac., has been involved in healing and transformation for over 25 years. As Macrobiotic Chef and Dietary Counselor, her culinary experience also spans three decades. Originally a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Paris in 1974, she took the art of French Cooking into the realm of La Nouvelle Cuisine, a healthier cooking style introduced by masters of French Cuisine in the 1970’s, and later pursued an in-depth study of Macrobiotics, becoming certified in 1984 by The Kushi Institute as “Macrobiotic Counselor & Cooking Instructor”.

As a graduate of The Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA, she received a Masters Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine. Licensed as an Acupuncturist in both the United States and Canada and as a Diplomate in Chinese Herbology in the United States, she offers her wisdom of Food Cures as the foundation in her practice of Oriental Medicine. Nancy has satisfied many clients through her services as Personal Macrobiotic Chef and Dietary Advisor, among them being Dr. Benjamin Spock, Alicia Silverstone and Keenen Ivory Wayans. Nancy has also specialized in the treatment of Addiction since 2004, aiding many in their recovery from drugs, alcohol and eating disorders. Having studied with yoga masters B.K.S. Iyengar and Pattahbi Jois, Nancy has also maintained a passionate yoga practice for over 25 years, which she also regards as the stabilizing foundation in her daily life, in addition to her dietary practices.
